ok, i have 2 choices here.

1. 1991 caprice classic

pros: like new, no rust, 77,000 original miles, motor and everything is like new, interior is flawless with no tears. car is almost perfect. only $2350 cash from a private owner (one owner car) oh yeah its the fiberglass bubble version.

cons: its huge and has a bose system which i know nothing about as far as aftermarket installation

2. 1990 honda accord

pros: 143,000 original miles (very good for an old honda), pretty clean but not like new, runs very well. owner seems very honest, sunroof and clean interior and trunk. oh yeah, i like honda and they are very easy to drive. only $2300

cons: minor rust around rear wheel well (mispelled?), the guy sometimes have problems with the sunroof closing.

i would go with the Accord. i have a 3rd gen accord and i have alot of trunk room. i really want a 4th gen and if that car was for sale around here i would definatly buy it. and if you ever wanna go for speed, it has massive amounts of engine swaps, most just bolt right in.

GO WITH THE CAPRICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok ill tell you why. I have a 1997 monte carlo and it handles like a dream. My cousin has a caprice classic and it handles even better! It has a pretty wide wheel base so it makes it easy to handle. If you check out the cars engine and stuff it might have an LT1. I say this because my grandpa had a caprice classic wagon and it had one. ( case you didn't know the LT1 is what corvettes have/had in them) Not sure if the car has one, someone verify.

go with the Caprice, because going by what you said it sounds like a better deal, because it doesnt have as many problems and since its only $50 more. Besides, you can make a Caprice look pretty good, and you have lots of trunk room and its powerful. I dont like imports....

But still... it sounds like the Honda has more problems. Rust sucks and the sunroof can be a pain.

hey slipknot i agree with the "ghetto" thing foreal. the caprice has a 305 not a 350. im at work and i can call the guy with the honda and have him drop it off to me now. im kinda stupik for bringing over $2000 to work. anyway i may go with the honda, but i would like to hear more suggestions please.

i say go with the caprice because it does sound like a better deal and the sunroof can run a few dollars to get fixed and you never know it might stop working right before it rains and then your in trouble but the caprice is a nicer lookin car and has alot of room

I would go with the Caprice over the Accord. Rust can become a big problem, and sunroofs are a pain. It only has half the miles, and basically the same price. Besides, I always prefer a larger car.

Caprice definately. 77,000 miles and it is a bubble? Thats pretty **** good. I bet the owner is an old guy and if he is you know he did not drag it and rag it out. Sounds like a good deal but you are not really into 20's and all that. It is your money so do what you want.
