Hi everyone, i need help, im building myself a little "mini SQ" system if you can call it that for my car, but i hit a snag....
I was dead set on getting the P660 JBL set as it would have been perfect for my application, they are rated 90W RMS @ 2ohm and thats perfect because my Boston Acoustics GTA 602 throws 100W rms @ 2ohms, but heres the problem, the P660 is discontinued and nobody has them in stock in my country anymore and to import costs too much to justify it again.
So i said fine, what is in its place? and along comes the new JBL GTO609, oh the troubles! now its rated at 3 ohms and power is rated anything from 5 to 200 RMS, whaaaaat? now i dont know what is going on, if i hook up the Boston, will it play 4 ohm rated power, 2 ohm rated power, somethin in the middle or nothing at all?? and if they push any form of power then what is the continuous rms rating for these speakers?

2x Boston Acoustics GTA 602 Amps (Already purchased)
1x JBL GTO 804 8" Subwoofer (Already Purchased)
Silent Coat Sound Deadner (Already purchased)
Lightning Audio 4 Guage Wiring (Not Yet Purchased)
Sealed subwoofer enclosure (Net Yet Made)
1x JBL P660 (Not Yet Purchased because of dilemma)
