i have 2 12"sony xplods and an 800 watt logic plx28 amp. im pretty sure that the amp is only pushing about 200rms into the subs. i had only one sub running for a couple of days cuz the other was blown. now that i have both subs running again it seems like there is as much bass, than when i had just one hooked up. is it possible that if i get a bigger amp that will push more watts through the subs and hit a bit harder.

Do you have the money to purchase other equipment? Thats what i would suggest...

If not, then a bigger amp should make it hit harder, prolbably not much though

I would suggest two things, buy a BETTER, not neccissarily "bigger", amp. And also, buy/build yourself a better box, because judging by your (not to insult you), lack of knowledge, you probably have a prefab box. But a new amp, and when you have the money get some new subs...
