The difference in the performance of a sub having a frequency of 20-100 vs a sub having 25-500? Searched every where an can't seem to understand this. Thanks in advance

don't pay too much attention to those numbers. it's probably best to disregard them altogether. all subwoofers are made to reproduce low frequencies, so you shouldn't have to worry about one sub going lower than another by a few hertz, unless you have really specific needs. although a sub that can only go up to 100Hz i'd be skeptical about.

more useful stats are resonant frequency and qts
