I'm really fond of eD stuff and would prefer it. Although, I can't figure out why it is $55 better than the Alpine Type R.

From all of the helpful info I've read on this forum I will probably be going with the Cadence TXA-3002 600x1 @ 4 ohm. I would prefer the eD nine.2 or nine.2x but it is again much more than the Cadence amp. If anyone has any facts to post, I would appreciate it!!!

Why do you prefer buying equipment from a company that has proven in the past they have no issue lying to us, the consumers, in order to try and swindle our money away from us? eD and Ben Milne are rip-off artists, unprofessional, and out and out liars. Stay away from eD, there are plenty of solid manufacturers out there with a much more honest approach to business.

X2

I'll put it to you like this 4 years dealing with them, 6!!! blown woofers that were underpowered and the gains set all the way down. $800 spent, no ED equipment left to show!!! The only thing I MAY go to them for is Edead, or wire, but thats it. Don't get me wrong, they sounded pretty good(ov2, kv2, flatcone A), but wouldn't last more than a few months, dont to mention still having to come out of pocket by Ben even though its supposed to stil be under warranty

Oh one more thing, there nice now b4 you buy the woofer, but wait until something goes wrong. I had Ben tell me that the 16ov.2 could take 1000 watts no problem, put 700 to it, and guess what blown, then they tried to blame me for blowing the woofer.. Just stay away, I hear the Type R sound pretty good and get loud so that would be your best bet if you ask me

Well I appreciate the information. Thanks for probably saving me alot of headache....Thanks very much.

Well I guess bang for the buck sticks me with the Alpine Type-R then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

No problem, I took that as a learning experience. Well what price range were you looking at, b/c they're alot more options that may be even better than the type R for the money

x2 same thing happened to me. they dont honor there warranties at all. Get the type r much more solid built

lmao ED is good shit, and a word to the wise, you never want to post anything about ED here, too many fanbois and using old shit as an excuse. now i am not trying to defend them about the past, dont know what happened nor do i care, i just know that ED is good stuff.

its really up to you, i have a 13Ov.3 sub with a Nine.2x and i am more that satisfied. the 11Ov.2 wont be able to handle the Nine.2x, your better off with the Nine.2, and its cheaper if you do a package builder.
