I want to completely redo my sub stage in my 1999 Ford Taurus.

First off I want to try to find out what the out put on the alternator is so I don't have any overkill on the electrical system. I've been told it has 110 amp Alt can anyone confirm that or point me in the right direction. The big 3 will be an option but I'd like to keep away from doing that if possible. I'd like to keep the build at around 1000$ and no more then 1500$.

Things I have in mind.

Fi audio: Qs or BL two 12s or one 15.

Kicker Comp\IX two 12s

All in all I'll be needing Subs, Amp, Box(Ported), wiring, and maybe a new battery.

I don't want a comp car I just want something that is going to sound nice and beat well.

why would you not want to do the big 3? it doesnt have any negative effect. actually it's recommended

Save a little cash if possible and I don't like to mess with things under the hood I don't wanna risk the chance of messing something up.

sub - Image Dynamics IDQ v.3 12 inch - $280

amp - Alpine M500 - $150 - upgrade if you want

ported box - make your own if you have the tools and time

Wiring - around 100 bucks or less

Battery - not sure - 200 maybe?

total - $730

I could probably make my own box but I have no idea how to tune it or any idea of plans.
