Hi, i've recently been looking into buying a camaro and was also thinking about buying 2 Fi BL 12 inch subs with a ported box.

After looking at some pictures of the boxes needed for having subwoofers in a camaro, it seems as if you can only fit a sealed enclosure.

I really want a 5 cu. ft. box with a port tuned at 33hz. So i was wondering if this is at all possible, i'm relatively new to car audio, and don't really know much about enclosures, but i am trying to learn.

If you do know if this is possible, and know how to build it yourself, can you please give me an estimate of how much it would cost from me to buy from you?

Thank you for your time and sorry for the lack of details regarding the camaro, i don't really know the dimensions of the trunk which i would imagine matters.

My sisters Camaro had a ridiculously small trunk, she only had 2 10" P3s in a sealed box, but I hardly remember that.

2 12's don't exactly need a lot of space, but 4 cubes might be too much in a Camaro.

Also, tint is a must unless you want to get jacked, because anything you put back there is right under the rear glass, on a pedestal for thieves.

Really easy cars to get loud, even with sealed boxes. I've had setups with 2 12's, 1 12, and 1 15" in camaros and T/A's. subs in the t-top well and firing at the tail lights is really loud as well as on top of the gas tank firing at the glass.

I'm looking at a 98 camaro at the moment, but if the 93-97 camaros have bigger trunks, i will go with those too, i don't really care.

And to those other people that answered the quesiton, I know that i can fit 2 12's, my question was, can i fit 2 12s at 5 cubic feet.

If 5 cubic feet is too big, i am fine with getting a 3.6 cubic foot box, that will be fine too.

I like the earlier model of Camaros... but they're the same body style, they only changed cosmetics if I remember... my brother had one and it had a TINY trunk.

If you're gunna make it into an audio car, don't even bother... but if you just want a bit of bump in the trunk, go with 1 12" or 2 10"s

I love both the Camaro and the Mustang. Love the last gen Camaro SS and the 69 Camaro SS 396.

Fun vehicles to drive and the vintage that you're looking for should be dirt cheap.

I'll take pictures of my box in my 95 camaro tonight for ya man. Hard boxes to build though. My sits on the flat part above the gas tank and fills the entire bottom tub.
