Planet vs. Audiobahn spl

Which subs would have more spl in my 1.5 sealed box: the Planet Audio z-series 15's or Audiobahn Alumn. 1000watt 15's???

(or should I get something else with my $300?)

Thanks man, I was actually looking at the 1000watt MA's or even the PowerAcoust. 2600 which look huge but I think I'm ganna stick with the Planets, they phisically look awsome and will hopefully make me happy.

Before you drop any cash on planet audio subs, i figured i'd let ya know that my 'bahn destroyed a planet audio FU series 12" (the ripoff of the stroker. i'm pretty sure it's the best one they make) in dB drag at the Lake Alma Sound Off in Vinton, Ohio in August of this year. He, sadly, couldn't break a 141 with almost twice as much rated power as I had....

Planet Audio makes some really nice amps, and some of their subs are pretty nice too, but nothing impressive. My local dealer just dropped them in favor of Soundstream's new line of products.

Thanx a lot but I'm still wondering about the efficiency of the bahns; a bit lower than the Planets: I have a legacy 1600 that I think I'm ganna be using on them so with that in mind I'm leaning towards the Planets I'd need to get a new amp to push the bahn 1200's but I don't have the money

I gave u mine already man. I really think tha dude with tha planet audio's that Lone Ranger mentioned either had a shitty enclosure or else diodn't have his EQ and everything set up right. Pluse LR did he use the same track as u?

That's what I was thinkin too cause from what I've heard, Planet is pretty decent and won't let me down but I've gotten all sorts of frigin answers. I just want to know what sub under $200 would give me the most out of a 1.5 sealed box. Thankyou though corsica

As far as track, I dunno what he was using either. At the time I was peaking around 54hz, and since it was a MECA sanctioned event, I'm sure he was playing his peak too.

that means nothing, a buddy who i used to work with at a shop here in my city, has 2 fu 15's with 2 1250d's strapped together in a huge ported box/wall, 2 alternators and 3 batteries....158.8....the box was designed by the good people of cerwin vega.........

all of this in a sprint by the way, it's all box design man....it's truely a science.....
