my price range is USD150, and the models are tipe R 12", MMATS procast 12" or the planet zetar 12"here in guatemala are another brands like logic, audiopipe, and sony that are kind of cheap but i dont know about them to much

at the last autosound contest here a few weeks ago my cousin went 126.5db with 2 MMATS and i friend went 118db with 2 xplod 12"

my cousins car is an sporttrack and my friends is an BMW

If the sub has been used, you don't know how much it was abused. If the sub is new and if their subs are as good as their amps and components I think you'll like it.

either is a good choice, if you get the 10's, make sure they are DVC 2ohm, that way you can wire them to a 2 ohm load on the amp.

Summary

12 = DVC 4 ohm

(2)10 = DVC 2 ohm

hey i got a question about your sub, how much watts is your sub recibing, i read that your amp at 2 ohm is like 500w and the sub is 300w (right)

if im rigth does it damage the sub ?

naw, running more than RMS doesn't necessarily damage the sub. Depends on the box design, etc etc. If I was you a single 12" would be best, ported and tuned to 35Hz.

Ive heard the zetar 12 in one of those testing things where i bought my Planet Audio P110, I would recommend it over the others..

jbl 300.1 its 300*1 @ 2ohm (local dealer)

hifonix nemesis 300*2@2ohm ( internet)

or a kenwood 250*2@2ohm (local dealer)

alpine amps here are quite expensive, like jl s or audiobahn

i saw the hifonics at onlinecarstereo @ usd 200

well if you looking for things over the net, I would look into an Hifonics BX500D or Hifonics BX750D, good amps. Shivas are great subs for the $$$, http://www.adireaudio.com. And XXX are made by RE (Resonant Engineering) are quite expensive compared to the Type R's.

I'd give planet audio a chance. Unfortunately if you don't have any dealers near you, you'll have to take a chance, which is what I had to do with their amps and components but I'm happy.
