Placing Components

So I had my old Koda's installed in My jeep grand cherokee in the doors. I made a wood "plate" that held the tweet and the woofer in the front doors in the stock 6x9 location. I passed the jeep down to my brother and was going to install some infinity perfect componets. Should i mount them the same? Or mount the woofer in the door and the tweets in the stock locations underneeth the windshield? Thanks!

if you think it sounded great, why not stick with it? Having a tweeter that far away might cause some seperation, but you can always try both ways and see what sounds better.

Well i thought it sounded sort of dull. But I was worried that the brightness of the Perfects would be amplified by the glass in the windshield. I guess I will just mount them in the doors...
