I personally never delievered Piazza, but however have had a few friends do it and it was worth it back in the day, but like someone else said here gas was a lot cheaper, like 1.20 or something low like that. This was like 7 years ago. But I do remember some of those guys pulling out wads of bills out there pockets saying that they made that in one night in just tips. But that was a good night. Sometimes it would be like 10 bucks. So on that note, if you live in a good area and think peeps would tip good, then do it, but more than likely you will be putting your tips straight into the car, not to mention all the strain on the car from the city miles. So basically at the end of the night, your working just a min. wage job. I say if your young and can trust the car and dont give a shit about miles and the price of gas then go for it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would look into other opportunitys....

If you want to make money, sales is where its at kidd.

Being a delivery boy is really lame, esp for a pizzaria

where tippers are cheap ***'s in surbuban areas

If you deliever to me, I don't tip the pizza guy.

That said, a lot of people I know will not tip him either due to the fact that well, he doesn't do anything exceptional or things of the sort, doesn't really provide a service any different than any other pizza man, ever. So..unless the base pay is good, I'd say no go. Plus, you screw up your car and such...

I was a delivery guy for about three years. I live in a decent neighborhood and would at least bring home fifty dollars in just tips and gas money(we got .32 cents a mile). If the boss is cool and neighborhood nice I say go for it, just hope there are not a lot of people like swimfreak in your town. The service the delivery driver does is basically making your dinner and bringing it to your door rain or shine(because you dont want to make it yourself). So I think that is always deserving of a couple bucks. Also do you tip your waitress? The two jobs are very similar.

I agree with you about this. I mean I tip the pizza guy no matter what, unless they tip is already included in the price of the pizza, which some places do around here. I mean like you said, they deliever rain or shine and put so much ware and tear on there cars not to mention miles. So a couple bucks to help him out is not gonna break me. Some people are just rude and can give 2 shits about people. Hummm I wonder who I was talking about.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

i worked for domin hoes, pizza sl*t, little sleasers, 6 years between them all.

depending on were you work its ok. the worst part is putting milage on your car but you can make some decent money 8-10 an hour + tips + milage

200-250 weekly paycheck, $20-50 tips a day during the weekday

(up to $75 on weekends). thats not including milage, some places pay you a few cents per mile that can add up to almost what you spend on gas (this was pre ghey gas prices). if you have a small reliable car its a great way to keep cash in your pocket all week. domios payed the best, pizza hut makes you drive there truck sometimes were you dont get milage =(. there all a bit diffrent.

I worked for Domino's off and on for years. You get paid minimum wage (or just over it) then you get paid X amount of money (specific amounts differ store to store, franchise by franchise) per delivery and tips. If you take multiple orders out the door at once then you get the run money for each delivery - not just each physical trip out of the store.

If you have something fairly economical fuel-wise then you can easily make it worth your while as it is a no-brainer job and you can make up to $14-$15/hour after you factor in your run money and tips. If you work for a pizza joint that services primarily a crappy part of town this can be decidedly less, mind you...
