Pitbull Owners

Sounds like he was a shady individual and probably didn't raise his dog right. Wouldn't of mattered what kind of dog it was. If it looked like a junk yard, crap all over the yard, car parts, and back yard was a mess. Sounds like he needs to get a clue and get his shit together.

Pitbulls are terriers, very large terriers. They were originally ratting dogs. ALL terriors have a predisposition to being agressive, just they got a bad name because of their size and stupid people. They can and are great dogs. Just keep in mind that in Washington state the number one biter is Border Colies but you never hear a word about them...
However, they should only be dog agressive, not human agressive.

Here are some forums to check out.

I have a 1 1/2 yr old red nose and he is such a disapointment. I have had him the better part of a year and he has not attacked any small children or old people. I am like WTF is all the excitement about? All I hear about is how aggressive Pitbulls are and what a bad breed they are and how alot of cities ban owning a pitbull. I am beginning to think my pitbull is defective.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

my last rednose pitbull we were having problems potty training it. we would take it out and it would do its thing but even then when we brought it in. not long after it would do its thing on the carpet. was terrible. couldnt figure it out so we gave it to my grandma and grandpa that lived out in the country and it did great out there.

whats the best way to train a pitt to go to the bathroom outside only. i dont want to run into the same problem again with the next one i am going to be getting when i get home.

I've had 4 pits and honestly never had one that was mean. Hell, a friend of the family had one when i was growing up, and they have a picture somewhere of me hanging by his neck when i was like 4 or 5.

Great dogs.

LOL..

my 61 year old father and i was fixing some windows for npdodge,we walk in the back yard to look over everything,a 115 lb pitt from next door jumps the 2ft chicken wire and attacks my dad, with no warning.
Did you weigh him while he was attacking or while you was playing with him after he attacked him?

We have had probally over 100 pits and have had 1 bite because my little nephew was hitting the dog with a stick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif ....still have about 80...best dogs we've ever owned

My wife and I got our latest pit from a rescue after she was left for dead and attacked by an Akita. She had a very bad case of mange and was left partially blind in her left eye. Now one year and 30 pounds later she thinks she's a fifty pound lap dog. None of our friends have any qualms about bringing their children over to our house to play with her. The only thing dangerous about my pitbull is her gas.
