Pissed at kicker

Well I sent my amp in to get repaired and i get it back and guessss what same dam thing is wrong with it. Its hot to the touch when its not even playing music, goes into protect every 2 seconds then shuts off and does the whole thing over again. Should I be done with kicker and go with some thing else or send it back again. (its a zx350.2)

Calll them and complain about how they just fixed it and it's doing the same problem. But first, what ohmload do you have the kicker wired to? How about voltage, is it keeping up?

4-ohm getting a steady 12 at least, Im gonna try one more time and if its still bad im lookin for soemthign else

could be bad rca grounds, too

some amps will protect for this

don't the newer kicker amps tell you what's wrong? or is that just the huge ones?

Nope RCAs work fine with my other amp as do all the connections so Im gonna send it back.

call customer service and ask to talk to a supervisor...dont be rude or cuss at them or anythign just explain your situation...tell him youve sent it in once and you just want to get it fixed casue it was an expensive amp blah blah...if you make them feel bad for you it will get resolved faster..good luck

tell them your friends are picking on you, cuz you didn't get a sony with atrac3plus, and you're getting more and more tempted

oh ya, and cry... just a little

maybe just a sniffle here and there

I've had problems with kicker before, nothing TOO major, but GD, I'd think they'd be able to do better.

Hell I sent in an amp under warranty, with a note describing the problem, and where to start looking to fix it...

I'd definately check the rest of your install to make sure that it's fine.
