Pionerr DEH-P6800MP- good, bad, or meh?

I've heard mixed things about this head unit. Though it's discontinued, I'm looking into buying one from a seller on ebay. One major complaint I've heard is the brightness of the keys. Apparently they get extremely bright, especially at night, and it almost becomes distracting. Can anyone give me any input on this? I've never actually seen one of these HU's in real life unfortunately, that's why I'm making this thread.

Also, is there an aux plug-in for this thing? It says there is, but I don't see one anywhere on the face plate. Would like some help with this.
