Well, for the price i purchased them for (bought 2 for $90 Canadian each new) these subs are amazing. They run awesome on my two Ap15001d's . They are rated 1000wrms/3500wmax. Pioneer built these things to be quite stout. Even it's spider has a surround, which i have never seen before.

The only down side to these subs, is that they are not meant to be used in a ported enclosure. This is because the bottom part of the cone is completely sealed off. The only parts pushing air from the back is the spider, and that has to push air through a grill which is only meant to help cool the voice coil.

However, i use mine in a ported box, and they still sound pretty amazing.

i love my subs just got 2 of them and there actualy a spiderless desigh acording to pioneer i use mine in a large parted box about 1.5 cf each chamber all i have for now and it really pushes hard i use a pa bamf5500d1 amp and it makes my car quiver lol

I ran 2 of the 3002d4 in 1.5cf sealed each and pushed them with a pa ovn1-5500d gothic series and they slammed great. Only downside is they did'nt last very long. They did'nt last because I over powered, my fault.

I just put 1 TS-W3002D4 in my mountaineer running off a digital audio DCH-1604 in a sealed box that gives it 0.8CuFt of airspace and it sounds amazing. I'm putting about 1000w rms to the sub and it takes it easily. I was trying to get ahold of a second 12, but with the Tsunami hitting Japan, they've gone on national backorder. I plan on picking up a 2nd as soon as I can. The key with these is to stick by Pioneer's recommended airspace. 0.5-1.0CuFt. I built a fiberglass box for it and it sounded like poo. The box was too big(1.2CuFt).
