Well the more and more I have my 960 Premier deck, the more I dont like it anymore...

1st Issue - RCA grounding problem.... oooooh that whine

2nd Issue - CD's didnt eject for 3 weeks, works now. odd...

3rd Issue - Buttons would seem to stick and wouldnt stop going from one station to the next. Couldnt power the deck off. Had to actualy hit it to get it to stop.

4th issue - No input RCA's? How am I suppose to hook up my MP3 player? Dont even bring up an FM Transmitter. Quality is horrible.

Don't know much about the first 3 but that sounds like a trip to the repair center is in need.

As far as the 4th is concerned, why would you even need to hook up an MP3 player when the 960 already plays MP3s??? However if you must have an external RCA input this one will work.

or the shorter and less expensive one.

I understand where you're coming from but you said yourself you wouldn't even consider something FM transmitted since the quality would suffer. Well having the signal go through rca cables and then through a Pbus cable to the headunit would be of lower quality than having the mp3s on a CD. In that case the files are read directly off of the cd and experiences little to NO signal degredation.

Just a thought.

i have the exact problem (the rca ground thing) . what do i do? can i fix it at a shop or only pioneer? if my product is no longer under warranty would pioneer reapair it if i paid them?
