Pioneer DEH-P8600MP ?

hi i was thinking of getting this headunit for my car i want something that has a nice display , plays mp3s , has a remote , bass controls , EQ ..etc

is this better than the Alpine 9830 ? overall ?

any opinions or comments would help .

alpine is full of a crapton of good features. always a good choice.

so is the pioneer. I prefer Pioneer from past experience. thats why i run the premier 860.

just bought a new Premier 860MP to replace my old Premier 740MP and it rocks, id go with the Pioneer or something off their Premier line anyday over an Alpine

I have the Pioneer, I believe 7400. I don't need it for mp3's but when I put the cd with em in on it, it tells me the info which I think is cool & it is XM ready which definitely turned out sweet.
