Pioneer DEH-P8600MP faceplate problem

hey guys...i need help with my deck...ive had the pioneer deh-p8600mp since last dec...and its been awesome so far..and today after i put in the faceplate..it wouldnt come out..the deck works fine..but i cant open it..its a motorized faceplate which means unless the faceplate comes out...i cant change cds..:S ..sooo any help would be greatly appreciated thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It is possible the motor burned out, it is very common for this to happen. Is there a warrenty left on it? If not, go get the motor replaced at CC or BB.

well theres one year manufacturer's warranty...i bought it from cardomain.com...and i live in toronto...so i gotta ship it down to the states i guess...is there any way to find out if it is the motor thats burned out? i already tried reseting the unit....

knock on the face plate. i am very serious! i have the same problem. you press the button, it beeps but doesn't open. knock on it. don't try to break it but enough to let it know you want your cd back!

mine hasn't done it in a while. (knock on wood)
