Actually it only had a 3 band PEQ. That is what Pioneer's website claims anyway.I used to have a p8mp and I loved it. It was the first Pioneer head unit I ever owned. It had some nice sound options but the crossover options were kind of weak and there was no T/A. The best thing about it was the 13band PEQ and of course its looks.
The 8600 did not have NETWORK mode, only STANDARD mode. The Premier 860 had the option of NETWORK or STANDARD.If T/A and the ability to run active mean something to you then the 8600 is your friend.
