Pioneer Deh-p7800mp help

Hi.

I just received my pioneer deh-p7800mp.

I installed everything and all but my subwoofer doesn't make any bass.

I installed my other pioneer and my subwoofer works perfectly fine.

I messed around with the subwoofer settings in the p7800mp but still nothing.

Can anyone help me out?

is the sub output ON?

the HP/LP set correctly?

The RCA's in the sub output connections?

Not trying to take you as a fool, just trying to cover all the mihaps that can cause this.

try em in the front/rear output just to test em see if ya get sound

, outputs might be bad or the rca harness might not be plugged all the way or bad

The sub output is on.

The RCAs are in the sub output connection.

not too sure on the HP/LP settings ( what would you recommend? )

I will try on the front/rear output.

Any other support will be greatly appreciated.

DId u turn on the Loudness Setting? ..

Everything was off.

Does it need to be on?

I am thinking about just returning it and picking up a Eclipse CD7000.

Is the eclipse a equal or better unit than the pioneer?
