Pioneer DEH-P7700MP Problem...

I am installing a DEH-P7700MP HU in my '93 Ford Explorer and have encountered a little problem. HU has power, fully functional, but no sound. I diconnected the speaker harness and manually tried each of the speaker outputs, but still nothing. I previous had an old Pioneer DEH-P20 installed. That install went without a hitch. Anyhow, anyone have any recomendations for me to get this HU working? Like I said.. all the other functions seem to be fine

I believe you might have an internal amp from the factory. Make sure that the remote line from the HU is connected to the remote input on the amp.

If you bought an aftermarket wiring harness and put it together exactly like the directions specified.. it should already be hooked up.

that sucks. put ur original in. and check see if anythign happens if not then ur amp went byebye meaning you cna BYpass the amp which i beleive could be located behind the glovebox OR on the Rear right side panel... (could be wrong)

or rewire all your speakers. now if you rewire or bypass. i hope you have better speakers not STOCK, cause it wont hold for long
