Pioneer DEH-P7000BT & LG ENV (Verizon) - No music audio

Hi all,

I am considering purchasing the DEH-P7000BT and as such I have been to a couple stores to try it with my phone. Here's the problem: I can get it paired and connected successfully to my LG Env and the phone audio (key beeps, voicemail, etc) comes through just fine. However, none of the music on my phone will play through the Pioneer. The music just continues to come through the phone speakers.

I notice there are two separate input source selections - one for bt audio and one for telephone. Does this HU treats bluetooth audio and bluetooth phone as two different items (even thought the phone is both in ine)?

Do I also need to go through the process of pairing my phone as a bluetooth audio device even though I've already connected it as a bluetooth phone?

Or something else?

Also I already checked that bluetooth audio was set to ON in the startup menu.

My Verizon phone streams music through bluetooth very well. They may disable streaming audio on SOME phones, but saying all phones is... well... idiotic.

OP: Pair your phone through the BT Audio menu, not the telephone menu. For some reason when you pair your phone when you're in the Telephone menu it doesn't let you stream audio. When you pair your phone in the BT Audio menu it pairs everything.
