pioneer deh-p3500

Would a pioneer DEH-P3500 work with this setup? the two sets of speakers.. 5.25 inch in the front 6x9's in the back and 1 12 sub in the trunk? On the website it says it has 2 pair of preamp outputs.....I want to be able to connect something from the trunk to the hu right? help me out please

Well,, if you want full independent control over your sub then your going to want to get at least the Pioneer DEH-P5500 or Premier DEH-P550. This unit has it all and is still affordable. Unless you've already got some good crossovers.

I personally think the Pioneer DEH-P5500MP is much better than the 6500 because of its ability to play MP3s and WMAs.

If you dont use MP3s or WMAs then go for the 6500, its got a cool screen but thats about the only advantage its got over the 5500.

I personally like Premier. More outputs in the back, two year warrenty and its only about $30 more canadian for the product.

Actually with the deh-p3500 you can control the subs from the h/u. You can change the rear preouts from full range to non-fading sub outs. It also has a built in 80/100/125 (I think) low-pass filter for the sub-woofer outputs. All that with a subwoofer phase control as well. You can also adjust the level of the sub outs from -6 to+6, and I think one click below -6 is mute for the subs. you can find it alot cheaper then 195. you can probably find it cheaper than $135.

just do some searching around....ill be ordering my premier p740mp this week. i found it for $210 shipped on a website. now that is a deal. if your gonna pay 195 shipped for the p3500....you might as well make a HUGE upgrade for the extra $15

The deh-p3500 has all the features of the 6500 except for the OEL display. I wanted one as well but I soon realized that I didnt really need the OEL display I just wanted it for looks. But if you really want the display of the 6500 I think thats about as cheap as your gonna find it. yeah that was the unit i was lookin at for a while and then i saw that it only had 2 so i found something else
