Pioneer DEH-880PRS or the DEH-780MP ?

hi guys

just trying to decide which deck i should invest in

i like the clean simple look of the 880, but the 780 has color and customizable screens

i think most of the functions on both are identical almost and in price as well, except for looks

by the way, does anyone know what "PRS" and "MP" stand for?

Well it all comes down to the looks. Pick what you think looks best......Most likely people on here are going to choose the 880, I just purchased one recently and I love it.

does the 880 have any graphics/screensavers that move etc. ?

Yes it does, but theres really nothing entertaining about them.

The most useful is probably the voltage meter reading.

The real beauty is in the actual display, with 3 styles of display, and 2 fonts.

Also the fact that you can read it in the sun with no problem at all.

do you need seperate left and right EQ? do you want the ability to turn off the internal amplifier?
