Pioneer DEH-6800M Pre-Amp Outs Don't Work!?!

Hi,

I finally had a day off from work to install my new Door speakers, and headunit, so I got right to it. I'm having trouble with my new head unit, a Pioneer DEH-6800M. I don't have a manual, bought the HU off eBay, so I don't have a clue what to do. I get static out of the speakers hooked up to the amp I have (Crunch 800W) and a very low distortion of music. I don't have power wires running with speaker wires, so I don't understand why this would be happening. Any help is appreciated. Please help, I want to finish this so I can put my door pannels back on to go to school in the morning.
