I've been thinking about upgrading my car audio with the Pioneer DEH-3200UB. My interest is playing mp3s in shuffled order from usb flash drive. The manual has instructions to set the player to shuffle. It later says the following:

USB storage devicePlayback sequence is the same as recorded

sequence in the USB storage device,

To specify the playback sequence, the following method is recommended.

LL Create the file name including numbers that

specify the playback sequence (e.g.,

001xxx.mp3 and 099yyy.mp3).

lIJ Put those files into a folder,

[ I ] Save the folder containing files on the USB

storage device.

However, depending on the system environment, you can not specify the playback sequence.
Maybe I'm thinking too much but can mp3s on usb flash drive be shuffled or do they always follow the recorded sequence as stated above?

Anybody have this unit and use that feature?
