Pioneer AVH-P7600DVD bypass issue

Ok I have had this unit installed and they did have it grounded instead of to parking break sensor. However it did not work as I would get the message of you cannot access this while car is in use.

I tried rerouting the ground to a few different spots one on the actual chassis that when I just tested it with wire touching ground and temporarilly mounted it worked fine. I then mounted it then it would not work. Remounted and did testing again worked perfect 3 times or so after verifying and turning truck on and off.

Then I have tried to use the unit since and it acts like before and will not bypass. Am I just not grounding to a good spot well enough or is the deck just picky on grounds and not the correct way to bypass?

Any info would be very helpful as I do see bypasses on ebay to buy if I have to.

After researching a few threads I found that I may need to use toggle or relay as toggle switch may have to be flipped a few times before it will activate which makes sense as everytime I change the ground to a different location it works that time then when I turn the vehicle off it is like it resets itself and acts like it is not bypassed any longer.

So I assume either ebay piece, relay it, or toggle switch it. Unless someone has more info or easier way or more details.

sometimes they work in a sequence...run the toggle...cheapest you can find between the brake (I think lite green on deck ) and ground wire.....flip it to gnd then off wait 3 secs and repeat...you may need to do this two or 3 times....this info is for testing purpose only or while using on a boat...DON'T WATCH VIDEOS WHILE DRIVING IT IS ILLEGAL ......

Not only is it illegal, that is dangerous as **** and i would never want to do that. I know it sucks they have it set up like that, but you have to admit having a movie on in the dash is dangerous as hell whether your watching it or not, even if your not watcing it you may turn to look at or something many times....
