I was wondering what amp fuse i should use on my true 4guage wiring for an amp with an onboard fuse of 80? thx
Now THAT'S funny. 4 AWG is rated for 95 amps. How you got so close with that formula is beyond me.You guys are silly. Take the fusing on your amp, divide that by 2. Divide that number by 2 and then add it to the number you got that from.
Example:
Amp = 120A
120/2 = 60
60/2 = 30
60+30 = 90
Use a 90A fuse
Also, rub your power wire down with cooking oil and it will increase the current and decrease the overall amperage. All the pros do it.
Bwahahahahahaha

4 awg cable is rated at 110 - 150amps, so I have no idea where you got 95amps from //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifNow THAT'S funny. 4 AWG is rated for 95 amps. Use the subwoofers to fuse your wire. It'll cancel any short circuit out and turn it into sound.buying my 2 10 inch woofers would make your problem go away
Its called the National Electrical Code (NEC). 95 amps max enclosed (not free air) at 86 degrees F ambient. It goes down from there.
