I have a Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD that has MOSFET50 4-Channel Amplifier.

the sub i have is MTX thunder 10 inch sub (T4510-04) 225 watts rms.

my question is? can my head unit run this sub on its own or do i need like a 200watt amp??

whats the best way to install it?

connect amp to the preamp outputs?

i think the other way is tap in the rear speakers??

sorry guys need help i know nothing about car audio

i assume i need a wire to go from the amp to the battery as well?
Is this your first time ? You might want to have a shop do it, but yes you will need to run a fused power wire from your battery to your amp

Bcae1.com is a good source for your questions, and should get you going in the right direction.
