I agree on this particular Pioneer product that I don't have much knowledge. However, I did know that on a few video units you can ground it directly and not worry about it past that. I based my answer on that fact. Now, if that didn't work, the most he'd be out is time.

a toggle switch has 3 prong, 1.Power, 2. Ground, 3. Accessory

ok here's what i did, the + wire from the brake i ran it to power on the switch. I grounded the wire on the switch that said ground, the Acessory option on the toggle switch is where the light green from the Pioneer goes. It works that way for me.... I appricate all you guys help
