Pioneer Avh-p5700 Touchscreen Problems?? Please Help

A Yes I Just Installed My Pioneer 5700 Touchscreen Dvd Player, A Brand New One Off Ebay, And It Seems To Be Working Fine All But The Dvd Player, It Will Read Cds, And Av Source But No Dvd Discs At All, Even Brand New Ones, So Im Wondering What Is Going On Here, Is There Two Seperate Lens Or A Cd And Dvd, Also I Havent Hooked Up A Toggle Switch Yet To Run It While Driving, But I Need To K Now If It Only Needs To Have The Wire Grounded To Work, Is It Hot Or Grounded And Also How Would I Hook Up A Toggle Switch Run The Brake Wire To It And The Ground The Switch?? you just ground the wire, the wire is connected by a switch to the ebrake wire

you don't have to ground the wire for it to work......it will tell you that it's illegal to view dvd's while driving and then you hit ok and it plays it

i know man, ok i did ground the wire to play it, my ps2 works when hooked up, but when i put in a dvd, it says reading format, for a little bit then it says error 2!! whats up with that?? even on new dvds, ive tried alot??

maybe clean the dvd and make sure there's no scratches. it's done the same with mine. I clean the disc off and it works fine

yea i have it wont even read brand new disc which then you know somethings wrong

if you don't find an answer here, call Pioneer, and tell them to give you a new one

is it burned dvd's? i never had a problem unless my dvd was dirty....i have seen that error when using certain brands of dvd's that are burned. even with audio cd's......if i burn a cd i need to burn in mp3 mode in order for it to work

well no its just not on burned dvds its on brand new dvds that i have bought, i have at least tried 30 dvds and they all dont read, nothing comes up when i put it in, it just so format read for like 10 secs then says error 2,

is there anything you have to set up to make the dvds work on this player, like a setting set up to read them??
