Hi, So I am looking at these two H/U and originally I was set on the pioneer but after reading that pioneer is bad? on some posts here I would some answers.

Now the pioneer is much more appealing since i can get it for 340 vs 430... BUT is that ~$100 worth it?

Or is there a better double din or 2 slot H/U that is under 400? Any horror stories about either of these?

Thanks

i just got the pioneer 4200dvd and i gotta say love it but beware of its usb limitations .. it will only use mass storage devices np there but they have to be fat16 or fat32 and external hd seems to be very very slow to read format. external flash drives works very quickly faster than cd actually

Kenwood has a better eq than the pioneer
this is true and i agree but for the most part you want to keep your eq flat just using it for some minor tweaking tho the ability to tweak other freq other than what its set to is totally unavailable in the pioneer series and i miss that but the rest of the options fit the bill for me. also you can do better on the price i got my 4200 for around $410 and saw the 3200 for about $310 shipped
