anyone have any 1st hand experience witht this unit? im lookin to get one but i cannot find any reviews on it anywhere on the internet. any info appreciated

Hi. Yes, I have had first hand experience with that unit and it does work nicely. I have used a lot of Pioneer head units in the past and have always been fairly pleased with them. I personally would recommend the Kenwood unit over the Pioneer, simply for the sound quality difference. If you are not running an amplifier, the Pioneer units tend to sound very poor compared to the Kenwood units.

Also, the Kenwood units have a better warranty through myself and Kenwood, along with better (non-indian) customer service.
