Pioneer AVH-4400BT backlight repair

Hello all,

I have a AVH-4400BT and the screen went black, if you hold a light to the screen you can see it still works, I assume the backlight went out as the stereo still works, just can't see anything. Anyone know how or where to get this fixed?

Is this a brand new unit? I know if you press mode it triggers the light on and off. If it's new and under warranty send it in. Pioneer is like Microsoft. If you screw with it, the warranty is voided.

Other than that I don't know of any shops that do that kind of repair. Hope you figure it out

No, not under warranty, I purchased it when this model came out almost 3 years ago. Yeah, its not in the off mode, the backlight or something is just out.

I have a local guy that can fix it with my parts deck prolly cost you $50-$70 plus parts and shipping
