hey guys, final check before i buy this HU, will it be able to handle what I have waiting for it?

that is full set of components, and up too 2 subs. I heard that it had less pre-outlets than normal. is there any other units out there that would fit my needs?. This seems to be the best unit under for under 600. any suggestions or comments would help!! probably going to order this weekend! thanks, Matt

You can have rear speakers, but they will either have to be powered off the head unit, or get a 4-channel amp, and may not be able to fade/balance.

I could be way off, though. Hopefully someone else can chime in and confirm.

i dont know man im in the exact same situation as you. im looking for a double din under $600 as well

Well, the Avic-d3 doesn't have the best audio. That's what always steered me away from that. Pioneer should be coming out with a bigger badder line up this year.

Kenwood definately takes the cake when it comes to double-din head units. They are pricey, though. Audio is great on them, features too. The only thing that bogs them down is their ugly interface.

If you guys are looking for a sub $600 double-din unit, check out the JVC KW-AVX810. I had the 800 for a while, and it's a pretty good unit. No nav, which you didn't seem to mind being without in the first place.

wow im checkin out the JVC unit right now, cant really find much wrong with it and found it for under 600. 5v pre outs is a major plus! i dont consider myself an expert in head units so if someone else could look it over, it looks like a better head unit that the 4000. I like the interface too. it looks good. if someone else could simplify the specs a lil bit and put it into a good bad kinda deal that would be sick! thanks!
