Anyone else had the problem of the head unit locking on the language select screen and not allowing for the touch screen to work following disconnect and reconnection to the battery

Have you Googled if there is a reset button? It should be small enough for a pen nib or paperclip.

I have googled it and that's how I ended up here. Also I have reset it several times to no avail. I have even disconnected the battery and checked all the fuses.

How old is the unit? My Pioneer died last month (manufacture date April 2021). Apparently they had component supply problems after Covid and churned out substandard units for months which have had a habit of dying 2 years later.
