Show is a complete waste of time. Some Chitown boys were on there last year and it was BOGUS. Signed papers ahead of time saying they wouldn't talk about it, loser kept his car, etc...
Dude that runs it is a bag of douche.

I've been street racing for 25 years, it's NOTHING like that crap. But the negotiating can take 5-6 hours for a 9-10 second race, so if you don't like that part then stay away from real street racing.

I'll post up a vid of me getting down on the street if I can remember where I hosted it. Vid was up on SSA but their server crashed....

That's how it USED to be, but in the last 10 or so years it's changed a lot. I NEVER did anything but heads up races back in the day, but with my wagon I've spotted more cars than I sat heads up with. I did get set out 7 one time by a full on race car. I have no problems with giving/getting spots as it's still about the gamble. Yes a lot of guys will sandbag, run hidden kits, etc... but with the internet word gets around pretty quickly.

With spots you have a better chance of getting a race off vs sitting in a parking lot all night and it's a part of the sport now.

Speaking of stupid spots, I ran a Gixxer 750 2 summers' ago. I was on drag radial and HP, he was lowered/stretched. I set him out 10. WTF was I thinking!! But I like to gamble and reeled his shit in when he wheelied and took his $$$.

hahahh yep i was laughing for like 5 minutes and my girlfriend was like "jason that's not funny why are you laughing"

it was his fault. "is it fast?" the guy says yes so he dumps it hahahha. at least get used to it first.
