Pink Noise and AC DQX

I was looking through the manual to hopefuly finish up my install, or atleast most of what is left, tonight. The manual says to play dynamic music when adjusting the DQX input until the light steadily flickers with the music. Can I use pink noise for this? Wouldn't that be the most dynamic?

I would think pink noise to be the best method, but perhaps they want it adjusted under normal operating conditions. That's the only thing I can think of.
Eh, I will try both and see what works out best I guess. Thanks for the reply though.

I dont see any reason why you couldnt use pink noise. Only thing I can think of would be it would be set lower then what the music would be. The music would have peaks and dips (dynamic) causeing it to flicker, while the poink noise would probly just have a steady light.

Call me dumb, but what is the DQX used for?

EQ and crossover

The pink noise would be much more constant AVG wise than regular music.... I would just do as the directions say and use the music.....
Probabally a good call. Anyone have ideas on what a good track would be? Thought about using some Dave Matthews.
