I've got (2) different types of silicone, which would you use to patch the tear in this RE SX's surround?

I need to patch it up tonight because I'm doing my install this weekend and want to make sure it's fully cured.

Would you use Option A or B?

Option C:
Rubber cement on the back of the surround
lol, well I didn't think of buying that while I was at homedepot just 30 minutes ago :p

I can return these products if you really think it's necessary and that the rubber cement would work better.

Also this sub is going in a 4th order so aesthetics of the repair are not important.

I also saw some Gorilla Glue that said it works on foam, but I wasn't sure how flexiable it was.

What side effects would I see from putting too much silicone on the tear?

If I decide to use one of these silicones would you recomend a couple layers (1) layer in between the crack and (1) layer on top and bottom of both sides of the surround?

gorilla glue is for building boxes with.

it is NOT flexable - but it is an expanding glue.

so if there are small voids, it will fill and seal them as glue dries and expands.

I also say use the black rtv sealant goo stuff.

No, gorilla glue is NOT to be used on boxes, wood glue is much better.

JB Weld, the super quick set epoxy, i believe i used the 1 minute cure time. Used it on 2 different surrounds and it lasted the rest of the life of the subs.

Again, thats not a flexible product when dried. Shouldnt have worked, or your subs barely move

The option 2 was the better out of the options, 3m window weld is what I would have used (since i always have a tube)

well actually silicone is not good to use for tears believe it or not. the chemical composition can actually erode the surround over time. rubber cement would be chemically harsher as well. unfortunately that tear is giant so silicone is your best bet. but just know over time it will erode that bad boy. also you can put clear nail polish on the inside before hand for an even better seal!
