No itelligent way to argue my point, because:Yea, no intelligent way to argue your point, because:
1) Your not intelligent and
2) all mac fanbois are the same, Mac is better because its not a PC, and no real basis to argue the point. I use both on a day to day basis, with no problem transitioning between both ( as soon as I enable right click on a mac anyways ) Mac's have nothing over a PC, they use the same processor, and they take similar resources ( not counting vista since vista contains more System Features than a mac can think of )
You just fail at life then, I have run Vista on 2 gigs on a mid range at best laptop and it ran quite quickly. You must just **** at using a PC.No itelligent way to argue my point, because:
1.) you just gave me generalizations, "your classmates use mac, you use windows" no system specifications
2.) How many school kids even in graphic design are going to afford a nice computer?
3.) as far as i'm conscerned you get your work done 10x faster because you fail at life and do a half *** job at everything you do.
4.)I'm currently talking to you from a BRAND SPANKING NEW vista machine with 4gigs of ram which is about 5x slower than my mac
5.) They use the same processors but not even near similar resourses
6.) Vista has alot of features huh? have you ever heard of this thing called the app store? oh yeah, and that almost infinite list of apps doesn't fatten up and bogg down the mac OS like the "features" of vista...
7.) GTFO
LOL, its a MAC lab, with brand new $4,000 machines. No itelligent way to argue my point, because:
1.) you just gave me generalizations, "your classmates use mac, you use windows" no system specifications
2.) How many school kids even in graphic design are going to afford a nice computer?

7.) GTFO
Well, if it ran faster it would have to start before I wanted it to and launch apps before I told it to, but guess what, it doesn't.Hmmm cause you know how fast the mac runs, just gtfo
I HAVE VISTA MORON, there are no miraculous special fetures not available on MAC.LOL, its a MAC lab, with brand new $4,000 machines.
The app store has absolutely nothing comparable to the built in system features Vista has. The memory manager is alot better than anything Apple can come out with.
No basis huh, I guess the career and education on both doesn't mean anything, or the countless opinions of programmers and the head of the IT Department head UNCW who I currently talk to about every other day about creating the IPTV service on campus. But you know more than me, you know more than the countless opinions of consumers and programmers alike, you know more than my mentor who makes about 250,000 because of his expertise in computer technology. You obviously are too stupid to realize you have no basis to stand on, so I'll just let you continue your mindless banter about how mac has so much better resources, even though for the same price as a mac, you can build 2 similar windows based machines, and even pay the overinflated microsoft cost for an OS.
I've taken apart plenty of PC machines, but i've never had to take apart a mac, which i guess is kinda the pointWhen you decide to do some research on how both OS's work, maybe even spend a semester or 2 dismantling both, then you can come back and talk. Until then, your still a ignorant mac fanboi, just like the *** in the swimsuit I posted earlier.

There's equally as many gadgets as there are widgets and if you were smart enough you could find them, but you aren't.Nothing to say, what's the matter? Leopard got your tounge?
So let me finish driving this into the ground.
Mac has widgets.
Windows has a feeble attempt to copy widgets called gadgets.
Mac has Hundreds of reliable and interesting widgets.
Windows has a couple, mostly useless gadgets.
Mac has a very reliable application called bootcamp allowing you to run it as a PC.
Windows cannot run mac apps.
With a simple app called VMware Fusion you can run your virtual PC machine as a window in mac.
Windows cannot run mac apps.
Mac has stacks so that you can easily view all open windows. at once. with 1 click
You can do that with windows to if you manually adjust the size of all your windows.
Mac has "spaces" allowing you to access Several desktops at the click of a mouse.
windows has the ability to add monitors.
mac leopard supports 32-bit and 64-bit applications on the same platform.
PC supports 32-bit OR 64-bit.
personal purpose:
For mac you can get the best post-production editor "Final cut studio" for $1299
For PC you can get a program almost (or just as) good called "avid" for $2495 and you can also run it on mac
eh this mac pwns PC's litterally, look at the upper right hand space on the screen
Also... Final cut pro, Compressor, and Soundtrack Pro, FTW
Double the RAM, means indexes and searches are faster. Since RAM is faster than your harddrive (flash memory vs. mechanical 'static') I welcome the use. You may want to read up on Vista's benefits before you criticize it.Are you serious right now? Vista uses like double the ram of XP! and WAYYYY more than MAC
