pics of my new regal

yup...ive come to the conclusion that EVERYONE over the age of 25-30, every american has at one time had an 81-87 regal, cutty, monte or grand prix lol
The downsized intermediate GM's go back to 1978. They were a huge hit. You could get Chevy Malibus, Chevy El Caminos and GMC Sprints (El Camino lookalike) too. The Regal was just one of the Buick models. The GN/GNX series was high performance, with the 1987 model being the best one of the bunch for adding on goodies to boost the power. A friend of mine had his 3.8 Turbo all the way up to 450 HP. It made my 280 ZX 2+2 Turbo look like a girl's car...LOL! The Century models were the other variant Buick came up with and they were more plebian than the Regals, more like a mildly upscale Malibu.

My mother bought one new with all the accessories other than T-tops for $14K back in 1984. Alas, rust ate it up and it was sold for $600 in 1999. She went with a Cadillac after having owned Buicks since 1954. Buick used to be a good looking car but now they look like *** to me and they're the ugliest domestic model out there. Glad you got one from when they looked good.

Like the Cragar S/S's too.

Rick
