I am looking at getting an alpine cd player but I have the pioneer xm gex920 deal that goes with it. I am curious if this plug (it kinda looks like the ones that connect monitors to computers) will plug in. On pioneer it is called Ip-bus or something like that. If you have a pic or if you know it will plug in, please let me know.

Alpine uses Ai-Net, Pioneer uses IP bus, they are not compatible.

i would assume not, it is probably a pioneer only item

I think you're SOL on that. Why not get a Pioneer HU.?? Then you wouldn't have to buy another XM tuner.
