Your prank was in poor taste--no other way around it. You might want to review the law for a hate crime. You'd be shocked to find out that no judge, nor jury, would view you being attacked as a hate crime. Your action was inflammatory and would initiate any negative actions directed at you. For it to be a hate crime, you'd have to be in your normal "unaltered" appearance and to have been attacked because you are WHITE. When you put on a black face you totally changed the criteria for meeting "hate crime". I shouldn't expect you to know this, considering your level of maturity. You keep stating "black race" and trying to equate it to violence--sounds as if you're trying to justify your racial beliefs.

I don't advocate blacks dressing up in white face, nor do I advocate whites dressing up in black face. It is very important for the current generation to remain knowledgeable of the past and to learn from it, so that it is not repeated. It didn't take you having balls to go out in black face, it just took a ton of ignorance and stupidity.

For those who state they will pay for Deer to travel to fight--purchase him a few history books and therapy.

1) You way overestimate the logic of 12 peers.

2) Whether or not it is a hate crime, it is still assault and battery. Otherwise, don't you think celebrities would just be beating down the paprazzi instead of avoiding them. You can just go around beating up people, no matter how inflammatory they are.

However, the odds of a person being stupid enough to attack deerhunt while simultaneuously having enough money to warrent suing him is extremely low. I doubt many professional black men would give him thier time of day. Perhaps those with less sense (and less money) would stoop to violence as a resolution to the situation.
