Do you like it? I'm running the 791. It's pretty cool but the face flip down on it is kinda flimsy.

He has at least 2 things going for him that you don't. Aeroports + more power. You were running 5K to your subs with a slot port. The aeroports are going to be louder, plain and simple. Couple the aeroports with more power and he is going to be really loud. When I did a test between a slot ported box and aeroport box, the aeroport box was 1.6 Db louder. Boxes were built identical to one another; same volume and port area. Later on after I did my test I saw the technical write up about how aeroports are SO much better allowing you to use roughly 56% less port area than a slot port.let me ask, was it the single stetsom and the 2 mts that did a 154.9?

only problem with that assumption is that there are several types of slot box alignments, so if you just made one of the various types then that statement is misleading.When I did a test between a slot ported box and aeroport box, the aeroport box was 1.6 Db louder.
