as long as u like it, then there shouldn't be any problems. However, ur comparing two very different speakers, components and coaxials are apples and oranges. That being said, online would give u better options for ur budget. But i'd stay away from Type R, especially if it ever sounds like the subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

edit: since u get it for 60% off i'd go with the pioneer, unless u can get type-x comps for 60% off also

REV comps by far. Should exhibit more midbass performance and components generally perform much better than coaxs anyway. If you can score them for $132, then that's a smokin deal imo.
