That has been out for a few years now. That is pgs entry level equipment, but its very reliable, and is a good bang for the buck amp. Its very comparable to the jbl 1201.1

I've been using the PG Octane 8.0:1 for over eight months without a problem. It certainly drives my AA Arsenal 12 with authority. I've had it cranking pretty good for several hours and it remains cool. I've been very satisfied with it. I was just looking for a solid, reliable, inexpensive amp and this one has fit my needs perfectly.
