phoenix gold amp up in smokes.. need new one

randomly my ti 600.2 stopped working I checked and the thermal light was not on. the blue light was not on either. so I checked the front fuse. It was still good. I realized that the fan was still on though. I rewired the amp. Same thing. just the fan turns on on the amp nothing else.

should've disconnected the amp. I was gonna tonight.

but today while driving smoke started coming out of it. Mainly the top right corner. I don't think it can be fixed now can it?

I'm not gonna try to get it fixed this time anyways. way too much problems with this amp.

not even that concerned about this amp.. but it bothers me why this even happened, and the fact that my cars smells like hell now.

bass boost was all the way low. gain was set with a MM. (slightly less than 3/4). running at 4ohms.

too many problems with this amp I just want a new one for my single alpine type 12. its the 2ohm dvc model so I need something that'll give it 600-1000rms at 1 or 4 ohms. the subs in a huge ported box tuned to 32hz.

or should i try to get the amp fixed. i already got it fixed once for another issue. and it feels like this amp wasn't giving enough power to the sub anyways.

havent opened it. im going to the place i got it repaired for another issue soon. see if it covers under the repair warranty.

is it the amp for sure? or could it be bad wiring? I don't want this to happen to a new amp. I bought this amp used and i've had problems since i got it.

im using factory battery and alternator (i know). 4 gauge wiring, but its ****** quality. I understand this'll reduce some of my voltage and increase my resistance and whatnot but it shouldn't ruin an amp like that.. should it?

what are some good amp for single 12 type r. either 1 ohm or 4 ohm.
