i have an old MS275 probably 15 years old ...it hasn't gave me any problems....so they seem reliable

See I am trying to find me an amp that has high rated power even though the subs I have now won't be able to handle all of the power (2 12"mtx 225 rms a piece) I want something that is much higher because I plan on upgrading my subs in the future and I would hate to buy a POS amp that barely runs mine. Looking for something between 800-1000 rms @ 2 ohms. SEen a pheonix gold i was looking at but.. im thinking i should go with an alpine instead ( hear a lot of good things about alpine) but I have seen some good looking MTX and blaupunkt amps.

I also like my xenon 400.1 phoenix gold amp. Performed flawlessly for me so far.

their old stuff was great, not sure about their new stuff.

Out of their newer stuff the Xenon is the line to get. Anything before ~2003 or so is pretty solid though.

Anything before and after, doesnt matter the time frame. All their stuff is solid. The current rsd amps/ ryval are very solid, and do over rated power.
