isn't it the mods job to keep the forum running clean and make sure threads and posts get in proper places? what does it matter if you post helpful shit or not. i mean some of these people with 1000 posts or so might not be on the forum as often and all hell will break loose. just a theory.

My business promotion threads make up a very small portion of my posts ...
I'd estimate:

25% = Helping

20% = Correcting

20% = Arguing

15% = Bitching/Whining/Complaining

10% = Off-Topic

5% = Advertising

5% = Other

You certainly can't say I've made more than 1000 advertisements ...

I also said I rarely ever visit other parts of the forum anymore, that was based on when I spent more time over in the other parts, like 2 years ago.
