70 is good, but they can handle more. The crossover is the weak link there. Active you can give the mid 150 and the tweet 75 w/o issues.

I gave mine 250 per side, but that was just a temp thing and I didn't go full tilt but a handfull of times.

i killed my tweeters when i had them with a clipped signal from a POS amp. so be careful, but like said above, i would give the mids ~150w each and upto 75w to the tweet.

you guys are stupid for giving them that much power. 50-80 should be plenty loud for them. Get a quality amp and they will sound great.

I have my set running off me Pioneer hu. and they sound real good Like I have an amp pushing them already.. But I have a Eclipse amp waiting to be installed so they will get about 90Watts each side very soon..
